Will we open the season at home?

Since the 2005/06 lockout ended, we've only started one season at home - the 2010-11 season opener against the Buffalo Sabres. Every other season we have started out on the road. With the schedule to be released within a week, most likely, here we go.

Simple question: will the Senators start out the 2013-14 season at home?

We are not starting the pre-season at home that is for sure. For the regular season, i will have to vote that we will start at home.

We always do so much better starting on the road. Kids wanna prove from the start that nothing can phase them and they work harder. Then the next game, usually at home, they wanna repeat for the fans.

I love starting on the road, tbh.

Seems like we'll find out today. They need to clear the Olympic thing up first, but Russo from Minny knows the opener for Minnesota. I'm guessing that Mendes or Garrioch will know ours later today.
