Colorado's 48 points in 2016-17 were the lowest total for any team in an 82 game season since the current point format was introduced

With how abysmal Arizona has looked in the preseason thus far, do you believe they will be able to finish the upcoming season with more than 48 points

Possibly. It’s crazy to think Chicago could be even worse than the Yotes this year

Let's give Coyotes a 15% chance to tie and a 25% chance to win, which probably are well below reality. Even then we arrive at 53 points.

It's possible, but if I had to bet, I'd bet they get over 48. What hurts the tank of Coyotes is that they're in the same division with Blackhawks, who also are tanking hard.

I am starting to seriously wonder if Bedard would pull a Lindros if Coyotes get the #1 OA.

If the Yotes drafted him anyways, what would Bedard's options be? Assuming he doesn't want part of the organization.

I do believe they will end up with less points than that Avs team.

As far as I know, he'd have to play hardball and tell his drafting team that he'll play in another league for two years if necessary, to avoid playing for them

Depends a lot on Keller’s and Schmaltz’s health and the expected return for Chychrun. If Keller plays a full season and the return ignites their offence a bit I’d say closer to 60. They had 57 last year.

As for Bedard boycotting Arizona I think the Flyers, Hawks, Habs and Kraken will stink just as much. I’d say there’s only about a 10% chance Arizona get #1 with all the uncertainty and bailing going on anyway.

Too much luck in hockey, along with the loser point. You need a perfect storm of bad to be as terrible as that Avs team
