I'd wish he would be, kids talented. However I'm sure he's been passed over by quite a few other players in the prospect pool. Its a shame too, if he'd stuck around he certainly would have got a long look last year with all the injuries, and I'm sure Richardson would have done a great job building his game in the AHL.

I think the correct response here would be: "nobody knows for sure, but it's assumed that he'll stay OS for at least another year because he is under contract."

It's worth noting too, that he is not waiver exempt anymore - so bringing him over would be adding another guy who can't be demoted without risk of losing. Ottawa has too many guys like that already.
