Top 6 has officially mailed it in. Zibanejad is drifting out there. Kane is still speculating for gold sifting through dirt in the Yukon. The amount of battle and contact by the "top 6" is shocking. If they're doing this to keep fresh they better be fresh out of the gate.

At least the Bottom 6 played well.

Schneider-Harper is an adventure to say the least. They were bad.

Why? It’s a meaningless game and they played like it. Don’t have the cap to call people up and rest guys, so they’ll rest by playing like it’s an exhibition game. No one got hurt.

Like I said in the game thread, Colorado last season lost 6/7 of their last games RS. Against some pretty lousy teams too.

But it does make you worry. Especially the way we lose. That 1st period was so awful. What is it with this team that they can't start on time? That lost us the Devils game as well.
