I think the most stark example has been Colbert. Used to be sooo funny. Now it's just like... I think the last time I laughed in Colbert's show was when Jon Stewart made an appearance.

Watching a Colbert monologue and a Psaki presser isn't all that different.
hmmm john oliver is still funny AF
last week tonight is the new daily show(closest thing to it)

Any comedian thats very niche their material becomes redundant after while

I used to watch when Russel Peters was a DJ back in 93. By 98 i have heard all his jokes

Capri is still around (same location). They rebranded as Capri Family Restaurant but still serves up a great pie.

Colbert, John Oliver, Trevor Noah, etc are no longer the court jesters - walking that fine line of mocking those in power. They talk down to their audience and push the message of those in power. Real comedians are still pushing boundaries.

This game is like those Devils games. Just all defense. Right boring like.

But necessary for a team that wants to make noise in the playoffs. They had about a three week period when they were a fortress and dominating good teams.

Grind it out, then bury you chances and win series.
