Giveaways are a big issue. They are second in giveaways as well as defensive zone giveaways. Goaltending has not been good but we can’t be giving up the puck this much. Leafs have 5 players in the Top 50 for giveaways. Number 51 is Justin Holl.

if goaltending isn’t going to be able to bail them out they got to cut back on giveaways. I would think that with all this giveaways the Leafs must be up there on giving up breakaways and off man rushes but don’t know how to find those stats.

So they finally decided to change up the second line even though they’ve been trash for all of 2022?

this is probably the first time all season that I’ve not been excited for a game. Our goaltending has been ass for months now. Hard to get excited when you know your goaltender will probably give up four or more goals. I know that’s being negative, but I can’t change how it has made me feel. Hopefully I’m proven wrong, which I’ve been wrong before.

You're not wrong... but exactly you know how it goes. Kerfoot has actually been battling on the boards and looks speedy. He hasn't been scoring either but he's not paid like the other 2.

I guess in a way it really puts them in the spotlight even more. Nylander and Tavares better get their asses moving the rest of the season. The last 10 games or so haven't been close to good enough.
