Why isn’t there more Fire DJ smith articles in the media?

I want to create a specific thread for this question. Based on his whole body of work, a lot if local hockey writers should be asking this. Seems like Ottawa media is somewhat protecting him.

Don’t care if his a players coach, the core should be broken up too if they are protecting DJ, because the overall performance of the team is not there.

Tonight’s Dallas game should be an important one in the decision but I’m guessing it doesn’t matter. They had every chance to make up their mind 4 weeks ago. At this point it's just academic.
