Why do the Leafs almost never play home games on Fridays and Sundays?

I hardly ever see games being played on there even on the road it's that case.

Because the schedule is constructed so the Leafs play on Saturday night, usually at the ACC, for Hockey Night in Canada. The Leafs play less Friday and Sunday games in general, I think. I'm not sure if more are on the road than at home but it's all because they're the big draw on Hockey Night in Canada. And it helps them. They get a lot of teams on back to back nights in those Saturday games because the NHL tailors it that way.

If someone cared enough, it would be interesting to see if any team came close to as many home games on Saturday night, in primetime, as the Leafs.

They did, at one point. They still do (13th in attendance last year), but they sold out consistently back in the Carter days.

Hey! I watch the Raptors...unfortunately. Anyway as others have said they need to share the ACC with the Raptors but most importantly they play on Saturday because of HNIC which restricts them to playing just a few Friday and Sunday games. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think they face Columbus on Friday?

Try and buy a season's ticket for just the Leafs, you can't now. If you want the Leafs you also have to accept the Raptor's seasons tickets in the same seats as well or you don't get the tickets.

Not that I mind much, but you don't see many Leafs games during the afternoon on weekends. I know they usually save those spots for the popular American teams but you'd think an Original 6 team might have to play a couple of those games a year

Because Saturday is prime-time. It draws in the most viewers. On Friday, more people go out (yes I realize that most games would end at 10, except western games), and do other things in the evening, and a lot of people just want to go out and eat dinner or watch a movie or whatever after a week of work or school.

Sunday is the day before the week starts again and therefore it wouldn't be as fun to go out to a bar and watch the game or invite people over or go to someone's house etc. as it would be on Saturday.

Saturday is just the perfect day for hockey, and it has been for a long time.

Why would that be illegal? If you want to rent my duplex you have to take both apartments, I'm not renting just one. Is that also illegal? When companies bundle services and products is that illegal? If I buy a condo I have a choice to buy a parking space, is it illegal to not sell me the parking space if I don't want the condo? What if I want the condo but I don't want to pay extra for the parking space? Is it illegal to say I have to buy the parking space.

Wrong. This is only true for certain sections in the Lower Bowl.

They seem to play a few Friday and Sunday games this year, more so than the past.
