Friedman mentioned that any player playing all the games (home/away) preseason are being shopped. Robertson seems to be on his way out, and keeps playing all the games.

If you could summarize his career, why did he never cut it as Maple Leaf?

Robertson has only played 1 of 2 games.

The only players to play both are Grebenkin, Quillan, Knies and Cowan.

At least wait till a couple of months into the season for this. He very well could cut it and prove a lot of people wrong.

But if you put me on the spot, I’d say he’s not fast enough to be small and not big enough to be an average skater at best. He’s soft, small and lacks blazing speed where at least his brother is big and strong.

It’s still early though. There’s a hole on the top 6 at LW and it’s possible he gets extended looks and makes something of it.

Maybe the Leafs just like bigger, stronger players? Knies. McMann. Grebenkin.

Maybe Robertson still makes it with the Leafs, but if he doesn't this year another team will pick him up on waivers and he'll get a chance somewhere else.
