This pregame video gave me the chills every single time before the puck drop. The new one (sorry, I don’t have a link to that) isn’t nearly as good.

Anyone know why they changed this?

Edit - here’s the new terrible one:

If they could re-purpose this exact video but with whatever that particular year’s marketing slogan is (ie. “I am a Ranger”, “No Quit in NY”) they would be better off for it. Because that opening was by far the best they ever came up with.
There was no better encapsulation of the city, the history of the organization, and pure goosebumps that intro provided.
