Like the title says who is the youngest draft eligible player ( and where are they expected to go in the draft ) and who is the oldest ( for their 1st draft eligible year - not an overeager ) ?

Luke Hughes is very young could go anywhere in the top 10. September 9th 2003. William Eklund same thing but he’s October 12th 2002

Luke Hughes is a week away from the 2022 draft. One of the reasons why his upside is through the roof.

It's probably not a complete list, but I have a sheet of about 170 prospects for this draft. These are the guys I'm relatively certain will be drafted:

5 Youngest 1st time eligible:
1. Marcus Almquist - Sept 13th. Should get drafted.
2. Graham Sward - Sept 12th. Should get drafted.
3. Olen Zellweger - Sept 10th. Top-2 rounds (should be much higher)
4. Luke Hughes - Sept 9th. Top-5.
5. Ryan Winterton - Sept 4th. Top-3 Rounds

5 Oldest 1st time eligible:
1. Kirill Kirsanov - Sept 19th - Top-2 Rounds
2. Cole Jordan - Sept 21st - Should get drafted
3. Ryder Korczak - Sept 23rd - Top-2 Rounds
4. Eetu Liukas - Sept 25th - Top-3 Rounds
5. Dimitri Kostenko - Sept 25th - Top-2 Rounds

Thanks for the reply's - Luke Hughes looks like the young high potential player to watch.

Jakub Brabanec (9-11-2003) is also really interesting but he’s probably a third rounder. Good skater/skills, supposed to be pretty good defensively and while he is skinny he’s 6’1 so once he fills out he should have good size. He put up some decent numbers and looked good on a bad u18 team but otherwise he’s sort of obscured by playing in against men as a 17 year old in the top Czech league (1 assist in 22 games) so he could be a bit of a steal
