who would you rather face in gold medal game?

its quite evident that Canada, and Sweden would be the top two hockey countries at the moment. The question is, if you had to play for the gold medal, and you could choose your opposition, who would you pick to play between Usa, Finland, or Russia. This is based entirely on roster strength, and who you would think you have the easiest team in beating. Not picking who you would like to beat. So basically, if you had to bet your entire life savings on it, and you got to pick, who are you picking?

lets say each team is fully healthy, so finland would have koivu, and filipilla.

In this tournament it would have had to be Russia, they had great individuals but never the team that could have delivered. Even and perhaps especially in the final I reckon that the pressures would have been too much. However the Sweden that we all saw today was no worse candidate.

Russia can be the most impressive of the 3 or the weakest of the 3;
if they got all cylinders rolling, that talent would be tough to match. But as we saw they are typically the most likely to implode.
