It's very hard to beat the same team 4 times in a row...with that being said it's hard to see McDavid being denied with just 1 more win to go.

I feel like the ultimate chaos option is for Edmonton to build an early lead, then for Florida to claw back and tie it, and for McDavid to commit a costly turnover that leads to a Florida winning goal either in the final seconds of regulation or OT.

As for what'll actually happen, freaking got me. Maybe 51% leaning to Edmonton finishing the reverse sweep.

As demoralizing as these losses have been for Panthers and as bad as they have played you would have to think they have at least one more push in them

To roll over and die accepting fate with another awful performance would be shocking

Everything in me says Florida won’t lose 4 in a row but I just don’t know that McDavid will allow his team to lose in a one game, winner take all scenario. Pulling for Edmonton but I wouldn’t be upset at a Florida win either

Panthers are dead. They look shell-shocked, defeated, and playing game 7 is just a formality at this point.

Only Bob having the game of his life can save them.

Unless Maurice decides to have his team play the trap and with all 5 guys back, they have no chance. They are rattled and shaken.

It really all depends on who scores first IMO. That has been huge this series. The last 3 games that EDM has won, they scored first and never looked back. That said you have to think McDavid is going to be a man possessed. I'd be shocked if he wasn't and was quiet like in game 6.

I could not bet against McDavid. He can literally win games on his own. Bobrovsky is the only player on Florida I could say that about but he doesn't score goals. If Florida wins it's because Edm was didn't get more then 2 goals.

That would be death to Florida. LA tried that and Edmonton loved all that space to play with the puck.

But yes, ever since the Oilers ramped up the aggressiveness they have poked holes in that checking defense of the Panthers. A more defensive stance might solve that, but imo it still wouldn't be worth it. Plus to go to a different strategy at this stage doesn't seem wise.

I picked the Oilers in 7 before the series started.

However, this isn’t the way I thought it would get to 7, with each team exchanging 3 wins in a row and a game 7 to settle it.

It's McDavid vs Bobrovsky. Since McDavid had a quiet game in game 6, I expect he will have a monster game in game 7

Florida has looked shell shocked, can’t keep up with Edmontons speed and giving up off man rushes like candy, no meaningful adjustments.

So I voted for them lol.

Actually though, Edmonton taking is the obvious choice given their domination in the back half of this series similar to that against the Canucks and Stars, however I wouldn’t be shocked if Florida takes it against the momentum of the series. Would be the most anticlimactic finish for sure.

Here’s to hoping for a great game 7!

Netminding decides this game. Skinner can complete his redemption arc if he simply plays average. Bob needs to go full-on Jacques Plante for the Cats to have a chance.

My only concern if I’m Edmonton bob has improved the last 3 games giving up 5, then 4 then 3….edmonton will need to score atleast 4 to win

it's one game and it could easily be either team but there's no world where Edmonton shouldn't be favored at this point after outscoring Florida 18-5 over the past 3 games
