Not going to lie, with Mackinnon being this hot it's going to be tough for McDavid to take the lead

I see Mac and Mc virtually tied at this point. Going to say McDavid wins with Kucherov in third.

Rooting for Mackinnon though, because of fatigue I imagine.

I've cheering for Nate, because I want him to win more individual hardware.

But I've learned never to bet against McJesus.
That's why I voted for M......

I also think with a 10 point lead for Mack now McDavid will be more focused on the details than racking up points.

Kucherov is the only player other than Draisatl to win the Art Ross against a relatively healthy, prime McDavid. He's also more often than not, finished ahead of Mackinnon in points and PPG year after year.

If I'm picking any non-McDavid player to win the Art Ross, it's him.

McDavid could make up those 10 points in those 4 games in hand alone. He's certainly not out of the race. Gonna be a tight one.
Pretty sure at the time it was a 9 pt lead with 3 games in hand, after last night I think it’s an 11 pt lead with 4 games in hand. 11pts in 4 games seems like a lot but he doesn’t have to cover it all in 4 games….that would assume they both put up the same pts over the other 17 games.

That said, MacK would seem like the favourite, just pointing out that it’s not quite as difficult as say 11pts ahead when Mack has 1 game left and McDavid 5.

Since Mack’s breakout, the only seasons where he had a high ppg than Mackinnon are his hart and in 21-22 campaign, which he only played 46 games, so I wouldn’t really say more often than not.

As for the thread, I want Mack to win but could totally see Mcdavid catching up. He’s probably the favorite but any of the three could win.
