Gonna be close imo. I'll go with Kakko next season. LAF from then on.
They're both going to be beasty, but gotta go with Alf.
He's a special prospect, and he's goinf to be a legit top9 player right out of camp; who knows how much of a step he is able to take during the season.
I have to ask, why "Alf"? It makes no sense
Assuming 82 game season:
Laf - 19G /41A / 60P
KK - 21G / 30A / 51P
We haven't even experienced a minute of tomorrow yet, and still these bozos are trying to predict what the weather will be like next Tuesday!this is so ridiculous....Laff has not played a single NHL game , so how on earth can you predict how many points he will put up ? can you predict the lotto numbers for this week ?
Well whoever plays better is probably going to get the better linemates.Linemates are gonna matter in this contest.
Ah, I was torn between the two, but you make a compelling argument. +1 for Kakko.I expect kakko to play with panarin.
Kakko.
I mean I don’t think any of the wingers are set in stone in terms of what side of the ice they’ll play sans Panarin.Ah, I was torn between the two, but you make a compelling argument. +1 for Kakko.
Though, honestly, I don't really care. Just can't wait to see them both play.![]()
Then feel free to guess who will play better and therefore get the better linemates.Well whoever plays better is probably going to get the better linemates.
I'm pretty sure Kakko and Lafrenière are both set at LW and RW, respectively. The latter in particular.I mean I don’t think any of the wingers are set in stone in terms of what side of the ice they’ll play sans Panarin.
I did. Laf.Then feel free to guess who will play better and therefore get the better linemates.

Set like a baked cake sure but set in stone? Idk, switching wings is the easiest position switch in hockey, in fact it’s not even completely switching positions.I'm pretty sure Kakko and Lafrenière are both set at LW and RW, respectively. The latter in particular.
Moreover, I think Kakko makes a much better complement to Panarin than Lafrenière. Ideally, you want each of 10 and 13 playing the same role on two separate lines.
I put his performance down to fatigue and youth. He was arguably our best forward after he replaced Fast in the play-in.Set like a baked cake sure but set in stone? Idk, switching wings is the easiest position switch in hockey, in fact it’s not even completely switching positions.
What if Kreider plays 2RW and Panarin/Lafreniere play 1LW, or if Buchnevich plays 2RW or 1LW. There’s a bunch of stuff that could happen.
I just disagree with the idea that Kakko playing 2RW is set in stone. He was literally one of the worst forwards in the NHL this year. Granted he’s still our 2nd best RW even if he’s not actually good, but I could easily see him being demoted to 3RW.
