Since the last poll ended with Tarasenko barely beating out Buchnevich, and no other player was within 16 votes of Tarasenko, we're gonna cut to the chase and give Buch the 4th spot.

Rules:
Do not take into account expectations.

This is not the same as who you think our MVP was this season, but the player you select can be both your MVP and best player.

For example, one could argue that X player has been the best Blues player this year, but Y player is more valuable to the team. You're voting for X in this scenario.

1. Faulk (27.5%, 57.1% in tiebreaker)
2. Thomas (50%)
3. Tarasenko (41.7%)
4. Buchnevich (37.5% no one else was close)

I think most of us can agree that those 4 players belong in the top 4. I think the next 2 guys to go should probably be Kyrou and Husso. After those guys it gets really tricky. I can see arguments for Schenn, O'Reilly, Perron, Parayko, Barbashev, and Krug.

Went with Kyrou.

Went Husso, dudes a stud. Incredibly technical and calm in net with ability to make athletic saves

Looooog time lurker here, from back in the days when Patrik Berglund was the next big thing... I don't have much hockey acumen or knowledge of the game but I still spend more time here than my wife would prefer. I voted for Schenn. Not necessarily because he should be a clear number 5 but I think he is chronically underrated here. He acts like the team's captain. It seems as though every time someone [on his own team] gets roughed up - he is the guy in the enemy's face. He also puts up relatively good numbers. Maybe I will talk to y'all again in 10 more years!
Joelhead Out!

I really like Schenn, and he might be my favorite Blues player, but what hurts him the most here is he missed the most amount of games out of our top 9 forwards. Had he played 75+ games and was close to PPG, you could argue taking him here ahead of Kyrou and Husso, but he just missed too much time. Perron is in a similar situation.

You should post more. :thumbu:
