I don’t think it was Bob, but people put too much emphasis on averaging stats for goalies in the NHL playoff format. Getting 16 shutouts and 15 blowout losses is more valuable than giving up at least 2 every game but keeping the bad losses down so having better overall numbers. He did have a .937 in his wins.
*12 blowout losses. Tough to win the cup when your goalie has 15 losses

All the betting odds had Bobrovsky if someone from Florida was going to get it once it got down to the end of Game 7. This suggests that people that incorporate patterns/data (oddsmakers) viewed Bobrovsky as Florida's MVP.

Barkov and Bob are being overrated heavily due to the Panthers evenly distributing the load.

It probably is one of them, but no one really stood out from the pack all that much.
