Who sits when Muzzin returns

Didn't expect that it had gone 5 pages about this positive discussion. It's better than the team had no choice to dress Marincin last two years.

Tough choice, Holl or Lily
 
Holl is a hole in Leafs defence. Bad pinches all the time, soft, can’t clean the crease, can’t fight, weak on boards. But stats are good as usual.

Holl is #3 on the blue and white team, btw.

You can usually find him being blown by on the outside with a weak stick check attempt that puts him off balance, getting pushed around behind his own red line and way too deep in the o-zone for a guy who you may even beat in a race on skates.

He’s the weakest link. Keefe has an affinity for him that is unexplainable. He will be targeted by every opponent because he’s big, slow and has horribly low hockey IQ.

I'd like to know as well. I think the reason they didn't and use the cap space for a trade was so he could come back before the playoffs and get some games in to get up to speed. I am not sure of the cap implications now, I think they are in a bit of a bind, but they play 3D chess with the cap so nothing surprises me anymore. He's practicing with the red jersey still anyway.

It's down to Holl/Boosh for that final spot. Boosh has his value in a playoff series when there's no rules. His crosschecking and physical play is a pain in the ass to be up against for 2 weeks. I'm glad we spent next to nothing to get him instead of a 1st on Chariot lmao

Liljergen does not deserve to sit in any way shape or form. He's played too good

I agree that this is the best scenario. Muzz is not going to be playoff game conditioned when he returns. You don't want him being a step behind, when he already was a step behind in "top" form. Rotate in and out depending on opponents and game situations.
