Who leads the team in scoring?

So the last few years I've been doing pre-season polls for leading scorer and best rookie campaign to see how well we all do at predictions.

If memory serves, decent proportions of people have gotten leading scorers right the last few years. We didn't do so well with rookies.

This year is a little less up in the air as we just added by far the most offensively talented player, but for posterity...

Good question. I feel will be neck and neck between Zibby and Panarin. Hopefully both in the 85-95 point range. This year or next should hopefully yield our most productive point getter since Gaborik. Just crazy looking over some point stats Zucc led the team in 4 out 5 years from 2013-2018. Stepan led the team in point in 2012-2013 with 44 points yikes.

that's not true...mike could easily add another 15 assists with panarin on this line and top panarin's point total from last year and that would tell you nothing about the overall team other than that line worked.

I never really think of panarin being a particularly incredible goal scorers nor zibenajad being a particularly amazing passer... If anything I see it the other way around...

not really the point though...mika's point total should go up playing with panarin. barring injury those 2 will be 1-2 in points, likely by a large margin. if mika is 1st and panarin is 2nd vs the other way around it won't change much for the team cause they will probably both be somewhere in the 80s in points

That was a lockout shortened season.

But Dubinsky leading NYR with 54 points and Zuccarello leading with 53 were pretty sad.

Im waiting a bit longer for the ROTY poll but my guess is it will be a showdown between Kakko and Kravtsov with some spare votes for Shesty and Fox.
 
One he develops chemistry, Boo is for sure the leading scorer this coming season.

Edit:I didn't think I was the first with Boo but he's the only answer here.

Zibanejad - 85
Kreider - 60
Kaako - 50
Buchnevich - 50
Kravstov - 40
 
I think Zib and Panarin have about even odds, but Panarin is the logical choice.
