Here are the 2020's sorted by playoff wins. Florida has a Cup and the most wins. Oilers are second but no cup. Avs are third but with a Cup. Bolts are fourth but with a Cup. Knights are fifth and also have a Cup. Avs have the best win percentage (.618). Oilers are the best non cup team (which is definitely not a prize you want).

Tampa started the decade flying with 3 straight finals. They have not won a round for the last 3 years but still top 5 on this list.

I think those best of 5 "play ins" are not included here.

Leafs are top 10 in the league in playoff wins? I’ve heard from many people on this site that their core players are the worst playoff performers in the league.

add 2019 for Tampa...that puts them at 50 wins...just saying...I know they are cooked but this doesn't represent Tampa's dominance

If a team made playoffs every year from 2020-2025 and lost in the first round each time they would be tied for 10th on the list.

Not really the flex you think it is
You are overthinking this. This isn’t rocket science, sports are about winning, the teams that win the most are the best. If the other teams are better at playoff hockey then they should win more playoff games than the Leafs. “If he’s such a good hitter then why doesn’t he hit good?”. - Billy Bean

You mean, if they lost in seven every single year.

It’s not exactly a dynasty but it beats getting swept.

plus no one’s claiming they are a better playoff team than the ones that are winning a bunch of series like Tampa, Dallas, Colorado, Florida ect. Those teams are ahead of them in the list in the OP. I’m just saying the list is a pretty accurate representation of the best playoff performers of the 2020s give or take a few spots. I disagree with the people suggesting these teams way lower than the Leafs are better playoff performers, if they were they would win more playoff games.

Er... do the 2020 playoffs not count as the 2020s? Tampa Bay won 18 "playoff games" that year (2-1 in the seeding round robin then the normal 16 you'd need to win the cup in a non-COVID season).

Or is it kind of like how technically 2001 began the 21st century since there was no "0 AD" year, therefore 2020 is attached to the 2010s?
Hmm.. you make a good point. Should I have used 2019-2020 because those playoffs were 2020?

If it were up to me then I would, yes. On the other hand I could buy the argument that the 2020 playoffs should be discarded by the pedantic argument that the 2019-20 season (the whole COVID thing with the premature end to the regular season and special playoff aside) counts as part of the 2010s, because as I pointed out earlier, for the same reason that the 21st century didn’t technically begin until 2001 because the was no “0 AD” year. I do love pedantry, after all.

But it is ultimately up to you since it’s your thread. However, if you want to keep it to 2021-2025 playoff years only, I would personally recommend changing the thread title to reflect that more accurately.
