"Stone has been to six specialists across the country because of a back issue that has bothered him since last year's postseason. The team is hopeful that surgery won't be required. Vegas had been trying to manage the lingering problem.The Golden Knights also announced on Monday that Jack Eichel will play for the first time this season on Wednesday. Stone's move to LTIR will provide the team with the cap space to activate Eichel. There is currently no timetable for Stone's return."
