Who is most hated Red Wings this year?

Fans just don’t like them, plus Holland and Babcock don’t know what they’re doing.
Why this people are winning? We should have more respect for coaches and players , who give us everything they can
 
Part of being a fan. After Cleary, I have been most disappointed with Filppula for much of this season. Quincey was pretty bad at the beginning but he has adjusted his game to the stay at home role and while not setting the world on fire has improved a lot from his disaster start. The fact he and Smith clearly don't enjoy playing together has rocketed them up the list. People even struggle to get the right guy when screaming about their defensive breakdowns. Like last nights breakaway was really on Quincey not continuing to back peddle and knock it down instead of jump and come up empty.

I get that they are winning now, but some concerns with how this lineup was going at points were pretty valid. Having both Abdelkader and Cleary on a line when both wants to play the same game was frustrating. Notice of the top four a couple played together for stretches of the season, making them easier to pick on.

I would also say Howard and Kronwall get a lot of hate and deserve basically none, Howard is on this list and really Kronwall given what I have seen around here probably should be listed somewhere on here.

Cleary then Flip.

Both have played reasonably pretty well in the 2nd round though. I don't want Cleary back under any circumstances and only want Flip on a 3.5 M per year deal. Which ain't happening.

I don't hate Lashoff. He just sucks and doesn't belong in the NHL right now on a playoff team. I hate the coach and GM for him playing in the playoffs.

Not sure this thread will yield anything fruitful without some direction. Let's try to keep it about players that get more flak than they deserve, rather than a cooler of hatorade.

Yeah probably a better idea. In this case.

1.) Howard
2.) Kronwall
3.) Abdelkader


Somewhere down the list are Smith and Quincey, they just aren't very good together, but they are also drawing tough matchups and playing a lot of minutes. We haven't thrown a rookie into the fire like Smith in forever. He is playing big minutes and will be all the better for it next year in my opinion.

I don't think Emmerton was bashed all that much this season, people warmed to him after last year where he was the butt of jokes around here. Kindl has a few very vocal detractors but by in large he has been praised a lot this season.
 
My most hated red wings are the fans that i see on these boards constantly saying Babcock and Kenny Holland suck and need to go. Until they actually screw up and show signs of being bad lets be happy that this organization has made the playoffs 22 years straight (only team in SPORTS to do that). Just look at what Babcock did with the team this year and look at all the high quality prospects this team has (thanks to Holland and his staff).
 
pls leave the organisation asap and get replaced by the first passing people downtown:

Not to pick on you, but this is exactly what we're trying to avoid here. Negativity can wear thin (as can too much exuberance), but folks have the right to their opinion. Long as we keep it about the hockey and keep it fun, we can celebrate the highs and woe the lows together.

As noted astronomer Bryz said, "it's only game!"
 
How is Ericsson on that list?

And Franzen has actually turned it up the past few weeks. No complaints from me.

Flip is the only guy on that list that really pisses me off. He's been a horrorshow at times this year and he's supposed to be a top six forward.

I understand the Quincey hate but he's a 3rd pairing defensemen playing on the second pair with a rookie. Not his fault the organization overpaid for him.

I don't have very high expectations of a bunch of rookies and grinders so it's hard for me to hold much of a grudge. Watching Brendan Smith is quite maddening though.

The first two probably shaved a few years off my life due to anger/stress.

Flip was just one big disappointment during the regular season. His playoff performance needs to continue for the remainder of the Wings season if he expects me to take him off my **** list.

Gator has been competent the past four games. Still has no business being in the top six, but i can at least live with him being on the team.

I agree he's not ideal. But I like the third line too much to break it up. So there's no one else to really put there. I don't think Sammy or Bert would be any improvement on Abby there anymore. They were okay the few games they played but there's a lot of rust there and they lack speed.

Now, if we had Tatar, or in the coming years with Jurco and Frk and whoever else... He must not remain.
 
Franzen and Filppula were not playing the way it's expected from them. Both really really stepped it up in the playoffs though.

Cleary is in the end of his career but he's trying really freaking hard too.

There really is nobody to hate right now. Love them all.
