Did Sandin's performance boost him enough

It looked like Romanov was going to have it before his 4point game

Depends on how the final game goes. If Romanov has a big game and Russia wins then he’s a lock.

Romanov, but who the hell knows since he wasn’t even picked as one of their 3 best players after the semi-final.

Romanov looks great, combination of passion and skills foretells great NHL future IMO. But have to give it to Sandin IMO.

I think Seider would be in this conversation as well if German team were a bit better.

Sandin with another great game, if Romanov wins gold and plays well is likely the only way he can win.

Seider, Romanov, Sandin, and even Soderstrom looked very good to me. I know Byram wasn't give a fair shake by the CAN coaching staff, but Soderstrom looks better than him. Not a single US or CAN Dman "popped" to me. Disappointed in Miller...still pissed that Harley isn't on the CAN team.

Byram wasn't given fair shake? He has been force fed minutes even though he has struggled. At some point you have to make useful reads with the puck and avoid getting walked.

Ehh. I though he looked decent. None of the CAN Dmen did much for me. They looked talented, but porous. Kind of liked Jones.

Sandin should be the winner for this one. Romanov was okay, but he'd need to have a near perfect game today to win it.

Sandin or Romanov have earned it but I suspect whichever one doesn't win it people will be saying the other didn't deserve it...for reasons.

Rasmus Sandin has been on the ice for 1 5v5 goal against and scored 10 points, he should win player of the tournament with a clear margin, as well as defenceman of the tournament.

Get away from here with that ”fake news, western media”-facts!

Romanov! ShAAAybu! ShAAAybu!

I haven't watched every game of both so won't give an answer. I am excited for Sandin though with how he has played since being drafted and that he is even in this conversation makes me optimistic.
