A win is a win, but that red zone offence (or lack their of) was painful to watch. At least the defense was solid.

Win on a missed field goal. A CFL type of win and I love it. Argos did all they could to lose that game but found a way

Going to be a hectic atmosphere as always when it comes to the Labour Day game today. Even more because Kelly will be playing in his first road game since the suspension against the rival Tiger Cats nonetheless. Need to stay discipline and continue to stomp the Cats while they're down. Can't give them any hope for a miracle playoff push and obviously can't take them lightly either since 1 of their two wins came against us.

Not a very inspiring performance. Our record is very generous. This doesn't look like a Grey Cup winning team. Especially with how the D played today.

I watched parts of it…but to be frankly honest, it’s just hard to get invested in it. I don’t buy the whole “oh Toronto only wants the NFL”. I barely watch any NFL.

MLS has proven that you can be a lower tier league and still draw very well in Toronto. MLS was the butt of jokes for almost two decades, but they persisted with heavy marketing and gradual expansion.

CFL marketing is next to dead and expansion has all but disappeared from discussion now. I was hoping they’d do something with the XFL but that fell through.

There was an interesting discussion about how the CPL (Canadian Premier League) wants to expand into the Toronto area….rather than have one team, they’re thinking about splitting the city up and having a few clubs in the west end and east end.

Scarborough and Rexdale as well as Mississauga. Forge (Hamilton) already exists…would create an interesting dynamic.

Not sure if that’s a solution for CFL, but it’s a unique way to look at things.

Quite an impressive performance. After 2 terrible games where they were heavily criticized and deservedly so, they come up with maybe their best game of the year.

I've almost stopped watching CFL.. barely interesting nowadays.. while the NFL game has better atmosphere, both leagues simply fail to produce any continuous flow of excitement.

It's a dying sport, end of.. no parent is going to "willingly" register their kid for a sport that actively damages their brain..

Best next step, is to take away helmets all together.. might teach these lads how to tackle correctly.

Rugby has it right. You dont kead with your head.. Football has screwed themselves with this All-Or-nothing 2 a day Friday night lights.. it's one thing to give it your all, it's another to be doing it for an incredibly life-altering reason..

Argos win. Such a wierd team this year. Lost to Hamilton 3 times but beat the best team in the league twice now. I don't think they are a great team, but if they get in, Argos could be the most dangerous team.

Argos beat Winnipeg and clinch a playoff spot, and more importantly are now 2nd in the division.
They have beaten them twice and the Als twice too. They have lost to Hamilton 3 times. Such an odd team this year. They show up against the best, but struggle against Hamilton.

I think the Redblacks are second thanks to a tie game they played earlier. However, we face them next week. If we win, we'll be in the drivers seat for home field in the eastern semis.

EDIT: Wait never mind you're right. We're in 2nd. Big game next week either way.

Montreal helps out the Argos by beating Ottawa today. Argos can clinch home field in the East semi final with a win against Ottawa
Yeah that’s good. I’ll be at that game too.

Argos are heating up when it matters most. Kelly is getting into a good flow and injured players are coming back I.e. McManis.

Would love to see some playoff November football at BMO.

Not sure how to react to that win, but they won. Great 3 quarters and than you may as well treat the game as a loss after that 4th quarter. Completely unacceptable. Good on McMannis for calling out the team afterwards. That is not how you play.
