I really hope Pietrangleo doesn't leave the Blues but if he does he most certainly isn't going to Detroit. He's going to probably finish his career wherever he goes and he's going to want to compete for another Cup.

Don't expect Detroit to be in on Pietro.

By the time the team is competitive, he'll be old enough that he'll have been surpassed by Hronek and Seider, and potentially Drysdale if they choose to draft him. No point in chewing up $8M+ on that.

As much as I’d like to see it, I don’t think the Canes sign Lehner. I think it more likely they make a trade of one of Mrazek or Reimer + for a Murray or Andersen type.

I’ll also throw this out there...I wouldn’t be surprised if the Canes end up keeping one of Edmundson/Vatanen and figure out the cap later.
