Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Galchenyuk certainly deserves another look for the right price. He impressed me alot.
Beside the obvious, AM, JT, Willie, TJ, Muzzin, Hyman, Campbell, Spezza, Reilly, Holl, Bogo, Kerfoot, Soup and Engvall.
would also like to see Gally and Foligno to come back. Won’t mind Nash too.
Simmonds can come back but he has to know he is the 12 or 13th forward and there is a good Chance he will be sitting in the press box.
The key will be the return package of Marner. Would be interesting if the players coming back are Wilson and Mantha.

Marner, Simmonds, Thornton, Foligno, and Andersen have the least number of votes right now.
Seems fair TBH. I forgot to vote for Spezza but he has more than all 5 combined. Spezza should definitely be back.
I also did not vote for those guys plus Galchenyuk, Engvall, and Holl. Nothing against those three, but I think we look elsewhere up front and we use Liljegren on the back end. Holl benefits from Muzzin far too much and struggled in the second half + playoffs. I think if you have patience with Liljegren, he is much better than anything Holl was here by the mid-way point of next year.

Get rid of Kerfoot, Engvall and Holl that's almost 7 million freed up right there and they already have 12.5 million free up that money and you are at about 19.5 million

Matthews, Nylander, Spezza, Brodie, Muzzin, Campbell and Bogosian. The rest can gtfo. And that includes Keefe. Don’t really care.
Keep the core 5. Nothing you can get for mariner will be worth trading him imo. Matthews will never score at a 50 goal pace again without him. Honestly we need him, but he needs to he given far less importance in our lineup. Foligno can be there third.
Tavares and Nylander need a great 3rd. Instead of a line 1 and 2 we could have 2 first lines and give them equal minutes. Maybe keep Spezza to center the third line. Doesn't really matter who his line mates are imo.
Defence keep Rielly, muzzin, maybe Holl. Honestly they did a decent job. Sandin will probably grow into a starter role.
Keep Campbell, obviously. He's the goalie we've needed forever.
Fire Malhotra. Anyone even remotely associated with that power play.

I'd be happy to bring Kerfoot back, but he's gone to the salary cap or expansion draft unless we trade Marner. Galchenyuk would be fine, but he'll get a 2m contract or something from some team and we can't afford him unless he's on league min. Congrats to him on resurrecting his career. Frankly, I'd be thrilled to have our defense back next year to the man, I thought they were a real strength this year and did a lot to help our team win. They acquitted themselves admirably.

Guy has been invisible far to often when the game is on the line. Literally has never won a series in his life that I know of.
We risk losing him for nothing in 3 years so best bet is to trade him.

As far as I am concerned Marner and Reilly are to 2 biggest chips to get away from this team. Reilly has provided all he can, he is the longest serving Leaf but has also become complacent. He is part of that older team that didnt know better then losing. He needs to go. His calling card was the PP and offence, that can easily be replaced with what we have or get at a fraction of the price.
If we can deal both of them it opens plenty of cap space to fill this roster with more players that will make this team deeper.
