Fun topic...Funny coincidence - Red Wing fan here taking a late spring break trip with the family to Columbus (never been here - wanted to visit a city within a days drive).

Attended the Habs/Jackets game last night and found a fair number of fans donning the '1858 Forage Cap' (in reference to the Civil War Blue Jackets).

As a history buff I thought it was really neat to see.

If it's not Beauregard who was a sitting duck, it has to be Mark Eugene Stuart, for his failed mission.

Gotta be Mason Appleton. Just sounds like a civil war era name.

Morgan Barron sounds more like a WW2 era fighter pilot.

Logan Stanley might be the most basic name in the history of the Jets. You could be born in almost any era with that name and you'd fit in like a grain of sand at the beach.

Declan seems like a more recent name or like a resurgence of an old name.

Mason Appleton was the first name that came to mind before I even clicked on the thread but Declan Chisholm is definitely a strong contender, kind of forgot about him.

My vote's still with Appleton though.
