Recap - 3min

Was Morgan's game tying goal the key to settle the Leafs down ?

Was getting the 1st goal the key to feel like they are back in it ? (Going down 3 would have felt like it's over).

it makes no sense to go with anything but the 4th goal because the 4th goal won the game, therefore because it was the winner by deafult it was the most important

Marner flinches

He might have blocked it with his right leg without the flinch.

For the McDonagh goal,

does Marner get tripped, or does he dive a little.

(at 3:53)

Its kinda cheap how the pass goes under the skate and McDonagh just lucks out and blasts it.]

Can't choose only one.
Its really hard the next morning.

As a player, the tying goals when being down two really are key goals.

Goals scored when being down in the playoffs are the hardest goals to score (or at least that is what it feels like).

I know it's common sense to pick Matthews' goal but that Tavares goal turned the ship right around and put a huge wave of electricity in the building.

One of the Leafs' weaknesses is their lack of emotion. After that Tavares goal went in the building exploded and the boys were full of emotion all game after it.

Obviously game winner wins the game so it's the most important in regards to the wins. Saying that they were all really important.

JT getting off the snide is huge for the team (even though it looks like it might actually be Willy's goal) and maybe even got him going.

Mo's goal was super important as I don't think this series has even had any tie games (outside of 0-0) so that let the team know we are able to comeback against Tampa.

Nylander coming back seconds later with a filthy snipe to complete the comeback and provide the first ever lead change of the series? Huge.

And of course Matthews icing it with a phenomenal play by Marner wins us the game.

You don't get 4 without 3 or 3 without 2 and so on. It's a cop out answer, but all were very important goals.

The GWG seems like the easy and obvious answer in a game with a one goal differential. The Tavares goal gave the team life and momentum; Rielly's goal brought the game back to even footing, and Nylander's marker provided the team with their first lead of the night. It's a fine enough argument to make that each goal had its share of importance.

To me this is clearly a "fun" question, meant to be kicked around a bit and not to be taken too seriously, but in a game where every goal was epic, there was something about the Nylander goal that made it extra-epic.

It was difficult to tell on TV but I don't think I've ever seen a Toronto crowd explode like that, and it seemed to permanently change the atmosphere of the game in a way that not even Tampa's tying goal could reverse.

I understand the logic behind going with Matthews’ goal, which broke the tie and was a GWG, but went with Tavares because if it weren’t for his goal, it doubt the Leafs are even in a tie game for Matthews to score the winner.

They were dreadful up until then, just asleep at the wheel. JT’s goal woke them up. Plus, despite people’s (including me) complaints about him, I feel JT commands a lot of respect in that room and I’m sure it gave some extra jump to the team to see him get the monkey off his back.

Hell ya boys! what a game. Great result. The big boys were called upon to get it done. it was gut check time and they all showed up. SHOUT OUT to Tavares, Nylander, Matthews, Marner, Reilly.
