if your reaction is ??? it's simple. those 5 guys are thoroughbred jockeys that have made me money over the years. those guys you listed above never made me a dime.

i played and picked 5. imho bernard king would be on the list and frazier off.

Didn't have my glasses.
Had trouble finding Guidry, Munson, Dr. J, Bernard King, Jagr, Kovalev, Zibanejad or Panarin on the list.

or Ruotsalainen, Riggins, Murcer or Rivers, Park, Beck or Vickers.
 
My List
And I make this my list of sports players I would go out of my way for to buy a ticket right off the top of my head
Reggie Jackson
Tom Brady
Mariano Rivera
Roger Clemens
Tim Lincecum

Currently Ohtani. And being spoiled to get to see Judge a lot.
And Im a bit of a nerd for Bryce Harper.
And I really want to see Joe Burrow up close in person.

In 84-85 King was the best offensive player in the world. However, in addition to his offense Frazier was one of the best defensive players ever and was 7x All-Defensive.

Babe Ruth is the only team-sport athlete that compares to Gretzky in the "these numbers shouldn't be possible" category.

He might even have Wayne beat. Babe's 59 homers in 1921 was more than what 65% of the teams hit put together.

The rough NHL equivalent in 2022 (outscoring 20 teams) would be scoring 262 goals.

I don't disagree. Comparing Gretzky to Indvidual players he has more assists than anyone else has points.

Most of those guys were way before my time, and also Yankees, so they can get f***ed. LOL.
