Where would Hischier go in this draft based on his pre-draft hype?

Taller. Rossi is more built and a good bit heavier. But yes the emphasis is more on height and I think Hischier would probably have gotten picked ahead of Rossi. Some teams could have Rossi ahead though, he outscored Hischier by a big margin.

Just based on pre draft hype he would still go top 5 imo. In hindsight, who knows

Top 3 for sure. Hischier absolutely destroyed the latter half of his draft year and had a fantastic WJC on top of that. Some teams might go with Byfield ahead of him considering he's the big centre everyone is always coveting but I think you could argue Hischier over him. Laf goes #1 still without a doubt.

There seems to be a lot of people discounting proven good young NHL'ers for top 10 picks in this draft, which apparently has anywhere between 5-10 future hall of famers in the early part of the draft. It must be a historically great draft then. A lot of people are betting big on that happening.
