This was posted in another thread some place, but it's worth pointing out again to the Chicken Little crowd.

It was in the Detroit PGT and I posted it on the main boards in the Kings bashing thead. It is telling, and goes to show that we have been doing many things right still, just hadn't had the bounces or conditioning early on. But the last few games have been really good for the Kings, we are starting to play our game again, and if we keep this up, we will move up the standings in no time.

Last year when the team had these results I thought there was a reason to feel negatively about it, not this time. The Kings have controlled most of the games this season, the results haven't gone our way but that happens. The pressure will tell when the Kings get back home and start facing teams that are doing all the traveling (not to mention getting to practice the PP will help), not being the ones doing the traveling.

These stats tell the tale.

Thanks for posting that, and that's impressive, leading in all catagories.
Hopefully, no more injuries...losing AMart hurts.
THe team appears to be over the early malaise and are finally cooking on all cylinders.

No, this is not OT. Open the article, and look at the team at the top of every chart.

"The Stanley Cup champions are still the champs. The LA Kings are 3-4-2 so far but have outplayed their opposition in every situation. Quick has to start stopping some damn pucks, but that team is going to turn around soon. They're way too good not to."

Yep, as soon as Quicker (who, BTW, I think is phenomenal) gets his a-- in gear, we can start picking up some points.

Ah Just One Thought...

So me ladds how many starts has Bernier had so far???
And Quick is coming off surgery on his back correct?
This is a fine chance to, 'Give Quickers Some Rest...'
And not try to over work the guy for a freaking change!

Just some thoughts from left field... ;)

Really? :shakehead... The guy has had maybe 2 bad games. Lets not pretend he's the problem.

Quick has an .881 SV% at even strength. That's awful. He needs to play much better.

I want to counter this as the kings D were leaving more shots in the slots than usual. Outside the ducks game I don't think he has been bad per say just not the quick of last year yet.

Meh. He's obviously not at his best. But, if the Kings scored more goals, we wouldn't be having this discussion. Quick has kept the Kings in every game and that's all you can ask from your goalie. He will get better though.

He will get there. But, he hasn't been the biggest problem. I wish the article would focus on goals scored than Quick.
