Arrived. Show presence. Owned former team, "off-ice buddies" and especially OWN the GENERAL MANAGER of the Avalance and Jared Bednar, who have gotten his trophy in '22. My question is where was the great Makar? ESPN especially always has his name in their collective mouths, and the absence of them talking about him was really apparent. They never asked that question on-air though....which is, in a word, "Peculiar?"

Though their PP wouldn't have likely been as dogshit if they had him as an option
Also his stats were boosted because he played against Makar and MacKinnon and Lehkonen. Let's see what he's going to do now.

That's nice. Never seen him carry the Avalanche past the second round. Could it be that he's a better fit on Dallas as they have a better team???

No. They wouldn't have. Dallas still would have found a way to beat Colorado. Their coach is better. Their depth is better. Colorado can't win Game 7's either.

Utterly ridiculous.
They were literally 10 minutes away from winning the series until Rantanen put the team on his backpack and carried Dallas to the finish line.
Take him out of Dallas and put him on Colorado, and it's blatantly obvious how differently the series would've gone.

So, the best Colorado could have hoped for was to neutralize someone by keeping them on their roster and letting them walk as a UFA? Colorado still would have found a way to lose.
