Hi !

I'll be in NYC on May 22nd. Is there a place that i can watch the game outside ?
Do they show the game outside MSG ?

Thanks ! GO RANGERS !!!!
They don’t show the game outside MSG, and I would suggest sitting inside as it’s suppose to be in the 90s and humid on the 22nd

Local next to MSG on 8th and 33rd will have the game on and has a rooftop with TVs. The food is kinda meh but the beers are cold...If you really want the vibe of watching the game outside of MSG that's your best bet.

OP probably saw what other cities did with outdoor viewing events. NYC is too cool for hockey events, unless it's a ticker tape parade

I’m all in favor of an outdoor patio style watch party, just not sure where you’d find it. The suggestion above to go to the rooftop at Local is probably a good one. Definitely down to get a watch party together sometime this round - same as last time but with more of you assholes actually showing up.

If I’m gonna put in the work to organize it, I need more engagement

The webleedblue pregame last Sunday at Hudson Station was awesome, 30 bucks for 2.5 hours of all tap, bottles of beer and well drinks was a steal.

These are always a good time. Only problem is whenever they do them for road playoff games I feel like the Rangers typically end up losing lol. Guess the open bar makes the frustration a little easier to deal with.

I doubt this board can draw the amount of people WBB draws that it allows Hudson Station to shut down operations for an evening and turn a profit.

No I mean, we should just go to their party. Like a group of us should just decide to meet and go to the WBB viewing party. I got 4 of us to meet up for the last regular season game but had hoped to get more to come out.

FRIDAY, MAY 20TH AT 7PM ET
We're taking over downtown New York City and throwing a Block Party for Game 2!
We have reached our capacity limit at each of the three bars but you can still experience everything the Block Party has to offer. Head down to the West Village on Friday Night to experience a New York Rangers Brass Band and receive a No Quit in NY Rally Towel. We will also be admitting a limited number of walk ups on a first-come, first-served basis. Let's paint the city blue on Friday Night!

3 Sheets in Greenwich Village

Off the Wagon 109 MacDougal St.

Down the Hatch 179 West 4th Street

Have Fun!

There was some playoffs I think 2015 where Bryant Park was set up for the public to watch. I went to one it was nice

I recall a viewing party at the Astoria Beer Garden when they played those games to open the season overseas.

I wish the Rangers had the willpower to do more things like that.
