When will players be leaving?

Just curious when NHL players will be leaving their teams to head towards the Olympics? Will they play the whole week out or will some be leaving early?

why would some be leaving their teams early? unless they're part of the teams in the religation pre tourny thing

I believe it's so tight that some players will arrive the day before they have their first olympic game. There are no time to play togehter the team actually.

I don't think so... The NHL stops Feb 12 with the late game being Minnesota Vancouver. Prelims for the men don't start until the 15th

Actually SectionX is right. Players playing the 12th will travel the 13th and arrive in Turin the 14th. Players playing the 11th will arrive the day before.

It's not like in Salt lake city, no pre tourny things..

There were no "pre tourney thing" in Salt Lake City either, the tournament had two rounds as opposed to one round in Turin

It's all about semantics you know.. i talked about pre (real)tourney cause that's the expression MooseHunter used..

Great- old Bert will be really tired by the time this game ends and he flies east after the game.

I think I read where Team Canada will try to have a practice on the 13th and all fly out together to Italy on a special chartered plane with their families after the practice.
