We really need a vomit reaction emoji
This:
"Just like a good young player, if you get rid of a coach to get a bump (in good play), is that the right thing?"

can't be the same guy that threatened to waive players if our play didn't improve just a few weeks ago and then has subsequently been giving away our young players? What are we f***ing doing here?!

This. This is a good coach. The problem is the Stamkos & Marchessault signing that will hurt the team
maybe as an assistant.

He won in Florida running Quinville’s system with some very good young players. He got a lucky 18 game streak last year because he was forced to play a bunch of young hungry players. This year he hasn’t shown an ability to adapt to the older slower roster.

Bruno: i really havent seen anything to indicate to me that he is a good coach. He goes to the lineblender immediately and it doesnt yield any better results 80-90% of the time. His go to move of benching the younger players and favoring the older players even if those older players dont yield favorable results. Nyquist gets a ton of ice time even when his results 5v5 have been him getting scored on... alot.

Bruno is a pile of dogshit on the sidewalk in mid July.
I actually think that with a better team his system could work quite well (and it did in FLA).

He just doesn't have the pieces to run it in Nashville and his adjustment ability is near non-existent which makes this situation a horrible one. That, and the way he handles the younger players. But sometimes I feel like that's just the nature of the game, a coach tries everything to salvage his season and play his veterans and when they don't produce he at least have an excuse: "look the veterans ain't doing shit, I don't have much to work with here".

Pretty sure he was using Q’s system when taking over. The problem he had was making adjustments and that’s why he wasn’t renewed.

Everything I've read from Florida fans is exactly this. He continued on with what Q was doing and just like here his answer to everything was to throw the line blender at it. GM made the call not to bring him back.

I really hope we lose the next two to force Trotz hand.
I don't really want to see what "force Trotz's hand" looks like. Because I'm more afraid of it being him triple-downing on trading prospects/picks for somebody's fading veteran than of it involving a coaching change. :help:
