Surely to goodness Trtotz won't let this disaster go on much longer.
Probably, because otherwise Trotz admits he's made a tremendous mistake in the roster and staff.I think Trotz will let this shit show run to its bitter end.
Yep that's my thought.I think Trotz will let this shit show run to its bitter end.
Cause the thought of a guy that young on Barry Trotz roster makes him sick to his stomach. And why did we not give Molendyk a 9 game look?
Take me drunk I'm home?Bring back Hynes
I mean, I'd rather Taylor or a whole variety of others, but was more thinking I'd maybe rather we'd just never switched than gone to Bruno. Maybe we would have rebuilt/fed youth instead.
If they are doing that its because he's got so many instructions running through their heads that they can't just play. The problem isn't the players, its the coaches.Did anyone else catch the bench interview with Bruno? His response was something to the effect that the players were "freezing up" (overthinking things) and just needed to play.
Which struck me as odd. He's the coach. If the players are confused and overthinking everything, it's literally his job to fix that.
Well, it could be both. The roster has its flaws too. But I don't think the coaches are doing them any real favors, particularly with some of the odd dress/scratch/ice time decisions. If they are doing that its because he's got so many instructions running through their heads that they can't just play. The problem isn't the players, its the coaches.
If its a player or two I can see blaming the players, if its something happening across the board that is completely on the coaches.Well, it could be both. The roster has its flaws too. But I don't think the coaches are doing them any real favors, particularly with some of the odd dress/scratch/ice time decisions.
Something many are forgetting is ownership is in a transition period to Haslam having control next year. Haslam may not have the same patience that everyone is used to.I figure Trotz has a longer leash than most with coaches since he was a coach himself so I think he'll survive the season.
oh lord I had completely forgotten about this.Something many are forgetting is ownership is in a transition period to Haslam having control next year. Haslam may not have the same patience that everyone is used to.
It would be really cool if we could clear the entire staff of "Poile guys" and start things fresh... I will continually wish for that even though it will probably never happen.
