Thought it'd be fun to have a thread we can bump if we update our stuff, or to talk about new gear.

Right now I'm using:

Helmet - M11 w/ Bauer 9900 cage
Shoulders - Reebok 4k
Elbows - Reebok 7k Pro
Gloves - Warrior Koncept
Pants - Tackla 9000
Shins - Reebok 6k
Skates - Graf G35

Sticks:

Warrior Dynasty Draper 70 flex
TPS Response R2 Nash 65 flex


Picked up a few new things over the weekend for summer league:

Sherwood 9950 shoulders for the hot rinks (summer league is less intense)
Warrior jock (Nut Hut?) was on clearance, needed a new one
CCM U+06 65 flex (feels like 85) with the Ovi Pro curve (just disgusting)

I use the U+06 intermediate sticks too but I prefer my Bauer X:Lites. The red stick is a Tron LE and the white one is some Christian wooden stick I use for ball hockey.

My gear keeps switching but some thing stay static:

Helmet: Vintage CCM HT2 w/ ITECH visor
Shoulder pads: 5030
Elbow Pads: Bauer One15 softies
Gloves: Manitoba Moose 852 pro-stocks and TPS R8
Pants: Tackla Overtime 3500 in green (superlight pants) or Warrior Syko's (even lighter, but less protection)
Shinpads: One95's - but want lighter ones
Skates: RBK 9k w/ Stepped Steel runners

other gear that I switch in:
CCM 692 helmet
Sherwood 9950 gloves/CCM Pro Tacks
Bauer One55 elbows

Gear I don't bother with:

Broke all my OPS except for a backup S11
Built 2 new 2 pieces:
Easton 09' ST (only $50!!!) and a Mako M5 blade - but its heavyish
AK27 10 Shaft and a RS Blade - now its balanced

Where'd you get that RBK pro blade?

Bought it off a guy who had a batch made through PSHG. It's a cool curve, really long blade, low lie, crazy rocker, bit of a heel curve, decently open (similar to a Sakic), pretty significant toe kink. By far the best curve I've used for stickhandling (especially any toe-drag type moves), terrific for saucer passes, but so far my shot it is a bit worse than with a Drury or Sakic. The set up is also a bit blade heavy, had to make a weighted end plug for it, and even then the balance is just "meh."

I've been eyeing the Versteeg Pro on the Warrior site. That might be pretty sweet.

The hosel is a pretty standard length for a non-tapered blade. Perron doesn't actually use a shaft/blade, he uses a 1-piece AFAIK, the blade I have is just a standard blade that's been cloned to have Perron's pattern.

And yeah, I'd like to give the Versteeg pro a try too, that or a P92 lie 5.

Sticks are Bauer vapor x15 and easton EQ30, both intermediate. I love the easton but I keep the Bauer for when I play D because it feels sturdier.
