I’m curious to see the PP units of all the teams in the league.
My guess is
Tavares-Matthews-Nylander
Rielly-Marner
thinkingCurious what the 2nd unit would look like on the Leafs.
I realize the top unit will get 90+ seconds of each PP, but still PP2 can be important.

Trade zibby once Laf has showed enoughLoaded question.
Probably this:
1: Fox, Panarin, Kreider, Zibanejad, Trocheck
2: ? (Jones/Miller/Trouba), Lafreniere, Chytil, Smith, Kakko
Most fans want Lafreniere on PP1, and most of those most fans want him to replace Zibanejad. I don’t know how likely that is. Zibanejad is a PP specialist that symbolizes a lot of what’s wrong with the team, but he’s not really had much trouble over the years at scoring on the PP. The PP2 defenseman spot is up for grabs. It 100% should be Jones, but that’s not really Laviolette’s style. I think most likely it’ll rotate between those three until Jones is entrenched as an every game player, which might take half a season.
Holy shit you guys are stackedA few question marks on the Habs with Dach, Hutson and Laine coming in.
My guess -
Slafkovsky (netfront)
Laine (wall/left point) - Caufield (bumper) - Suzuki(wall)
Matheson (point)
Dach
Newhook - Roy - Gallagher
Hutson
Might be better to separate Caufield/Laine but they both probably deserve PP1 time so I'm not sure how they'll handle that.
You as a neutral, would you consider trading for that contract if you ran an NHL team?Trade zibby once Laf has showed enough
I thought the same thing but I was talking to Bern and then I assumed my valuation was offYou as a neutral, would you consider trading for that contract if you ran an NHL team?
Go look at his stats (consider his drastic ES/PP splits) and the structure of that contract before you answer and then tell me if you think he’s a player that has positive value.
I think most Rangers fans would dump him today if it was that easy.
Holy shit you guys are stacked
That first unit power play will be the most effective in the NHL behind Edmonton and Vancouver[ Looks at the worst PP2 in the history of humankind ] "Holy shit, you guys are stacked"
Remember they were trying Pettersson in front of the net lolBoeser
Debrusk Pettersson
Miller
Hughes
Second unit could be interesting this year. The exact same as always:
Hyman - McDavid - Draisaitl - Nuge - Bouchard
