What was the largest win in hockey/IIHF?

The Linesmen probably had to put ice on their backs after the game, from constantly having to bend over to dig the puck out of the net.

The Bulgarian team was just standing there watching. I mean, literally. There are times when you know a team isn't backchecking and they are just being lazy. Then there are times when they don't even look like they know how.

I am a terrible skater, and I feel like I would be average at worst on that team. How sad.

But why was Slovakia, a competitive hockey country, playing such a bad team for qualifying?

Women's hockey.

Slovakia is nowhere near as good as in men's

It's the women's team. The Slovakian women's team is not as competitive as the men's.

I've been beat.

Oh didn't realize that. Watched about 30 seconds of choppy video on my work computer, and even then the disparity in basic skills like skating and puck handling was extremely obvious.

The team holds the record of the largest victory in the sport. South Korea beat Thailand in the 1998 IIHF Asian Oceanic Junior U18 Championships almost unbelievably 92–0.

Wow, between two countries that are so far off the hockey map, I would have expected either about 80 goals each, or a scoreless draw that was cancelled after nine overtimes because the permit on the arena was about to expire.
