Just finished season 3 of Ozark...quite the ending I must say and wasn't quite expecting that!!

I enjoyed it and was entertained tho I have to admit, Marty Byrde is annoying me more and more each season. His BS cool is simply not believable. That said, Lauren Linney should win an Emmy for her performance...my lord it was tremendous

That said, things set up for a very intriguing Season 4 and I for one will be along for the ride.

Walter White became so disgustingly unlikeable over time too.

Wendy is a G though. Went from my least favorite character to my favorite.

If you like Dominic West, check out The Affair

Just finished the Office. Started watching it a few months ago and finished up season 9 today. Great show. Losing Michael was terrible but I still enjoyed it.

Kevin was the f***ing man, he always made me laugh.

Amazing character arc for Wendy, I agree. Marty is an interesting case because he is the reason his family is in this mess. His unwavering, mechanical cool only flagged once in season 3 and it proved to be the only way out of the pit (literally). I can appreciate his quiet martyrdom throughout the show. I like how he adapts to worsening situations and endures the abuse of pretty much every other character. He knows he's to blame and he knows he has to find a way out for his family no matter what. It's a good show.

Even without Michael, everything with James Spader is awesome. Spader is the man.

I do like Dominic West for his role in the Wire obviously but when I saw an episode or two of the Affair, not exactly sure why as it was a few years ago but I didn't get into it...maybe I'll give it another shot.

Heck, if this coronavirus lasts as long as some are saying, heck I might start watching NYPD Blue and LA Law again...lol

Look like you and I are on the same wave length on this. I'd be shocked if Linney didn't at the very least get nominated for an Emmy...she was that good this season.

The actor who played her brother as much of an ass as he was, he did a hell of a job in his role as his acting was superb.

Very good show and like I said previously, I'm very much looking forward to where Ozark goes in it's next installment.

The Marty Byrde character as I also said previously just started to grate on me. His "cool" under all the crazy circumstances he found himself in this season as well as his families, just didn't seem believable which was the opposite of his wife Laura Linney's characters Wendy which was off the hook amazing acting.

Truth be told, I've never been a big Jason Bateman fan anyways and so maybe I'm extra critical of him.

So I just finished Tiger King and if I were completely honest, tho it was good, it wasn't as good as I was expecting.

I think the hype for it far outweighed the finished product. I dunno maybe I'm being a bit harsh but all the Tiger King ended up being was a bunch of red necks who made alot of money exploiting exotic cats and ultimately doing stupid shit.

Is that Emmy worthy? Definitely not. That said, it was worth the watch but hardly noteworthy or all too memorable.

So for now, I still have Homeland to finish up and Better Call Saul but I have to wait each week for the new episode.

I gotta find a binge worthy show and tho I finished the first season of Designated Survivor before Ozark came back, I'm not exactly chomping at the bit for season 2 but will watch it unless one of you guys know of a show that is binge worthy that I haven't seen.

Shit, I might just go ahead and watch the Wire for the 3rd time...it's that good!...:)

I'm noticing more and more British actors these days taking on American roles. That guy from Homeland and Billions Damian Lewis is another Brit who I had no idea about until I started doing some research as his American accent was perfecto.

Another guy that I didn't know what British was Christian Bale. I had seen him in American Pyscho for first time and just assumed he was American. Saw a few other films of his and it never dawned on me. It wasn't until he did Batman Begins 5 years later that I finally realized Bale was British. That's the sign of a good actor tho when you can't tell what nationality they are.
I was absolutely floored to learn Tom Holland was British.

I wasn't impressed either.

I'm an Arrested Development fan and I see where you're coming from. Both of his characters in these shows are cold and snarky. Bateman imbues a distinct flavor to his characters like he contains the humor of the situation within him but chooses to keep it in. Kind of like what Bill Murray turned into over the years. But different. And not as funny. Restrained is the word I'm looking for.

Your synopsis of Bateman is dead on and I couldn't have described him better...well done.

He's an acquired taste and for most of the reasons you mention, I haven't acquired it yet...lol

I'm going to assume that these shows you mention are a combination of shows you've either seen or shows you've yet to see and NOT shows you are currently watching...yes?

Now if a show is weekly, I obviously can do a few at a time. For example currently, I'm doing Homeland, Better Call Saul and This is Us just finished up. I watch the Voice(I have two daughters and it's a bonding thing...lol), American Idol(same reason) and I was doing the Outsider.

Now binge wise, I can only do one at a time as I like to give it my full attention. So I'm going to assume you made a typo error and these can't possibly be shows you are CURRENTLY watching but rather shows you've seen or want to see unless there are 10 of you...lol

Dead to Me is a fantastic show. I really like Altered Carbon as well.

Glad to read I'm not on an island here with Tiger King and that it was way over hyped.

I watched it with an open mind and tho yeah the Tigers and Lions and shit were cool to look at and observe, Joe Exotic and the rest of the cast of characters in the series and the storyline was a bit blah. Like I said worth the watch to see it but definitly not something I'd be saying to friends "OMG you gotta see this Daddy" like my daughter said to me and from some of the reviews a few of y'all made here.

Now if you guys want to see a series that will capture you and keep you hooked tho it's a serious subject, go check out "Incredible" on Netflix.

Very very underrated series based on a tragic true story. I'm not going to give too much away but I promise you, if you give this series a watch, you will come away from it like "holy f'n shit"...did that shit really happen in real life...how could it?"

The acting is pretty phenomenal as well and it's simply a riveting watch!!

I can't binge watch a series so I watch a few episodes and switch to a different series. I do this because I hate the wait time between seasons of a series. i watch so much without hockey and going to live concerts
