What Should be the Penguins Next Alternate Jersey

Just for fun...since it's gonna be a long offseason...

The Pens have been wearing the diagonal PITTSBURGH jersey as a third since 2021. They haven't worn any alternate for more than 3 seasons in team history, so I'd wager we'll see a new one soon. What would you like to see replace it? I'll put a few of the obvious "throwback" options in the poll, but feel free to suggest different ideas or pitch a heretofore-unseen jersey!

Option 1: The 2022-23 Reverse Retro

Option 2: 1995-2000 "Gradient Jersey"

Option 3: 2000-07 black/Vegas Gold jersey

Option 4 - Another 60s-70s style blue jersey (any variant)

Option 5 - A different throwback?

Option 6 - An all-new design?

Something simple like the Wings or Leafs jersey but with black where there's red/blue and gold where there's white.

Have a yellow alternate with yellow helmets.

I wish I could relive the 96/97 and 2001 seasons again. Sid and Geno are great but there was something sooooo magical about Mario and Jagsy. Didn't even matter who the dmen or the bottom 6 was

A fun time is going back and looking at those rosters and remembering guys like Ron Tuggnut, Petr Nedved, Stu Barnes, Patrick Lalime, Jeri Slegr...those were the times.

I personally love the gradient jersey and wouldn't mind seeing it return...but as Crosby's career winds down and talk of his last contract extension is beginning to float around, I'm starting to have a certain nostalgia for the 2000-07 jerseys.

I'm inclined to say an all-new jersey is more fun than the umpteenth throwback. However, most of the non-throwback alternates the Pens have worn in the Crosby era (i.e. stadium jerseys) have been been forgettable, ugly, or both...
