What nations have the best defencemen?

I would probaly say Canada and USA is the strongest. With Sweden as 3rd. Russia and Finland at 4th. Slovakia and czech nr 5.

Swedens D have declined, but not so low that Russia and Finland have surpassed us.

Loving this hockey thread enthusiasm by Eye of Ra USA is really high on my books. Looking better than ever. Canada aswell. Sweden definetly belongs to the same cathegory. That's the clear top 3 with a gap to the rest.

I have hard time defining it between Finland and Russia. Both look pretty mediocre at this point.

Czech is propably the 6th. Switzerland has Josi and a few others and Seider is the new comer for Germany. Not sure how i'd rank Slovakia as Chara is declining.

Because though they might have a weaker group overall, Josi can play 35 mins a game and be the best player on the ice

Yeah, maybe 7th would be either Slovakia or Switzerland
