The Dear Hunter
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Muse
Have you seen Muse live? I hope so. They're f***ing sick.

Saw them in back to back nights nearly a decade ago at the United Center and then again at the Joe in Detroit. They tore both places down. Oh and I saw them do a small set at Lollapalooza one year too but it got cut short due to a thunderstorm. The last song they played was "Butterflies and Hurricanes" and it was in the middle of the storm, so awesome.

Not yet, but that sounds amazing! They’re on my bucket list for sure (along with every other band on my list, though I may have missed the boat for The Beatles).

Werwolf from Satanic Warmaster, owner of Werewolf records which has some of the best finnish black metal around.

Black metal pioneer Varg Vikernes, unfairly judged for the euronymous murder in self-defense and for his traditionalist views

Chuck Schuldiner, basically created death metal and would have definitely taken it to another level had he not died so young.

Far from my favorite music, but I recognize his importance and see him as a modern day Mozart.

this is a tough one. If I had to pick 4 who influenced me the most and who I enjoyed the most it would be tough to narrow down at age 54. But I'll go with:

Green Day (nothing after 21st century breakdown)
Ani DiFranco
Robert Cray Band

the 4th spot is tough for me with contenders Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Sturgil Simpson, Living Colour, Indigo Girls, Led Zepplin, The Doors and probably a bunhc more I'm fogetting.

Oh. Lennon reminded me that I had already answered this question here - my original answer was better.

I almost put Nina over Sun Ra again, but Lennon is a big omission.
