What is your favorite Leafs playoff memory?

I get a lump in my throat every time seeing Burnsie behind the Leaf bench. My favorite Leaf coach of all time by far. RIP

All this talk about the playoffs is making me feel nostalgic. I hope this year's Leafs give us all something to remember. Historically, the Leafs have done well in the playoffs when they've qualified after a prolonged absence.

My favorite memory was Borschevsky's OT goal in game 7 of the 1993 Conference Quarter Finals that capped a stunning upset of the favored Detroit Red Wings at the Joe Louis Arena.

I literally cried when this goal was scored, and I still get the chills watching it...

What is your favorite playoff memory?

Yep. Me too. Borschevsky goal was my favourite. I was 12.

me too! sometimes I feel so old around here. glad to know many of you have the same memories. people would ask me how I've put up with the last 8 years and I would point to a thread like this.

I am now living in Hong Kong but I still catch every single game. no atmosphere here, obviously, but will be cheering with you guys in spirit.

anyway, my top 5:
5) nieuwendyk's 2 goals in game 7 in 2004
4) sundin's ot winner in game 1
3) stumpy's ot winner in game 5
2) killer's wraparound
1) borchevsky in 93

let's make some new memories this spring!!

I get chills every time I watch that.

Yeah, that entire Game 7 was amazing. We were at a party and probably 75 people were around the TV hanging on every play. What a time.

Here are the goal highlights from that entire Game 7. Memories indeed. While Borschevsky goal is remembered by most, rightfully so, let's not forget Gilmour tied it with just under 3:00 to go. I remember how the room we were in exploded in a cheer and high fiving on Dougie's goal almost as much as Nik's OT winner. Here are the highlights.

Listen to Bowen on the OT goal. I think he may have wet himself:laugh:

I watched the Leafs sweep the Senators live from the 3rd row, so that's my favourite memory.
