What is your favorite Leafs playoff memory?

T.O.
All this talk about the playoffs is making me feel nostalgic. I hope this year's Leafs give us all something to remember. Historically, the Leafs have done well in the playoffs when they've qualified after a prolonged absence.

My favorite memory was Borschevsky's OT goal in game 7 of the 1993 Conference Quarter Finals that capped a stunning upset of the favored Detroit Red Wings at the Joe Louis Arena.

I literally cried when this goal was scored, and I still get the chills watching it...

It was in 2002 or so. I was at a bar watching a Leafs/Sens playoff game. There were Sens fans everywhere. Well, the Leafs won that night and this one woman really lost it. She started cursing, threw her glass of the table and was in tears. It was hilarious!

Game 7 in 2004. The cream rose to the top in that series. Eugene even said it would.

the whole series was great

'93 game seven against Detroit was definitely my first big playoff memory and maybe the best. More recently (recently being a relative term in this case) was the 2001 sweep of the Sens after they had skated circles around us in the regular season. I was at U of O at the time and the trash talking, insults and general running down of the Leafs from the Ottawa side leading up to the series was unreal.

Carolina tying goal.

Bowen crying.

That one is great. I also like Belfour flat out owning the Ottawa Senators... throwing up zeroes while the entire series gets played in our end other than Niewy skating up to the offensive blue line once in awhile to put a weak goal past Lalime. Clownfredsson after the game rolling his eyes in front of the media talking about how he kept shooting pucks into Eddie's glove. The whole series was just a great feeling lol.

Oh and DARCY TUCKER... JUST ABOUT KILLED... SAMI KAPANEN.

I was at game four of the Leafs vs Sens series where we swept them. I've never cheered louder in my life.

My favourite part was how they were confiscating brooms from people at the gates, and putting them in huge garbage cans. There were cans and cans filled with brooms. Yet at the end of the game, the brooms came out anyways and several ended up on the ice!

I can't help but imagine what the ice would have looked like had they not confiscated as many brooms as they could...

The Gilmour wrap around goal was on my 1st birthday.

I was also at the game 6 against Philly where Travis Green scored in double OT to force game 7

That is definitely the best memory for me. Especially since I was surrounded by a bunch of obnoxious Red Wings fans at the time. Lets just say they became very quiet very quickly when that goal was scored.

I'm only 21 but my two favourite memories of the Leafs in the playoffs are that whole Toronto vs. NYI series. I just remember Tucker out there like a man possessed and then game 7 against Ottawa when Nieuwendyk scored those 2 goals and I believe earlier in the series Alfie GUARENTEED a Sens series win against us!

Mine as well. Leafs played well that season, but Detroit were all but ordained to win the cup the year.
Lanny McDonald's goal against the Isles was up there too for me.
Overtime, game 7.

Ya I'm old. (Carlyle is in the video)
O'Byrne taking his #23 is such a suck up. :)

I vaguely remember the last cup win, but I was only 4. Remember watching it in B&W my bros and dad going crazy.

Time to have some new favourite memories.

Gilmour wrap-around in double OT. Cujo was a man possessed that series.

The shaking camera is from the entire city jumping at once

Best and bloodiest series I can remember. Those were great days and you captured the perfect moment. Darcy blowing out Peca's knees. Just a few seasons later they were teammates and I remember the whole hoopla about whether they will get a long.

Borschevsky's OT winner was amazing.

Also loved sundin's tying goal and Gilmour's wrap around against Cujo I believe.

But the best moment is coming in a few weeks when we knock out the Habs in the 1st round :D

Remember it like it was yesterday. ****ing ran around the house yelling. Think I woke up the whole neighbourhood

haha, Cory Cross, biggest goal he's ever scored. The guy used to get so much abuse from the fans. Was Aki berg of his time.
