on the Canada players ultimately invited for the 3,4 5 day pre tourney DEC camp vs the summer camp session. Out side of injury do they have a record of bringing in and keeping players not on that summer list. Players that shine for the first 25 games or so and not in discussion before.

Not sure how many actually make the team, but every year they invite guys that have impressed at the start of the season, that hadn’t been on the radar. Tanner Pearson (2012), Drake Batherson (2018), and Max Comtois (2018) are three examples of guys who did defy the odds
