Hello there guys;
So, I see price and Byron could be LTIR to start the year; does someone have numbers on what our salary situation is after Dach signing?

How much extra money do we have left if we use Price and Byron injury? What happens if they come back?

There is without doubt a trade upcoming - Habs have far too many forwards, whether that will free cap space or be a contract swap (for Dman?) is TBD

That cap friendly roster is too big. It has

16 F/7D/3G for a total of 26.

Even if Price and Byron start on IR still one over. Possibly another F starts on IR or someone gets injured in Camp. Slaf in Laval to start? With Price on LTIR they have cap room for all their contracts- may not have roster spots for all though.

Barely fitting under the cap even with removing 10.5 m for a last place overall team.

They are just continuing MB's legacy

...no, not at all...and $6.3 mill of that was buying another 1st Rounder from Calgary in the Monahan deal...which ends after this season...in fact, after this year, we will have around $65.5 mill on the books with $10.5 mill of that being Price's contract waiting to be put back on LTIR...we're far more than just fine...:thumbu:
