Yes it's still 2-3 weeks out assuming the 6 weeks was right, what happens with the lines you have 10 guys for 9 spots, who's odd man out? Assuming we are healthy in the mean time:
Thornton - Matthews - Marner
Don't change what isn't broken.
Kerfoot - Tavares - Nylander
Tavares has been better as of late and Nylander is absolutely rolling. Kerfoot has been decent and the line is playing well so unlikely he gets pushed off.
Mikheyev - Engvall - Hyman
I've haven't seen much of the rest of the league in the last little bit but I can still confidently this is the best 3rd line in hockey since being put together. Hyman and Mikheyev are our Draper and Maltby. Engvall has really settled in to that 3C roll.
Vesey - Spezza - Boyd
One of Vesey or Boyd will be out when Simmonds comes back but this line has been good too.
1- The top line won't be touched assuming they maintain.
2- Simmonds could take Kerfoot's spot on the second line but you're not putting Kerfoot on the 4th line.
3- Third line is playing great, do you put Kerfoot back at 3c and push Engvall to the 4th when that line has been going so well?
Depth is a great problem to have i'm just curious where we stand at full health now that guys have settled into spots a bit after the start of the season rotation.
