What happened to our 2nd round pick?

Yesterday, the tweet said we got 31 and 58

The TSN board says we got Lukas Fischer at 56, but everywhere else shows St Louis picked him, and Florida got the 58th pick?

I'm not watching, so I'm trying to follow along online. I didn't see anything that said we flipped #58. There was a placeholder thread for this pick but it's gone now.

Fill in the missing picks for next year. We're REALLY light there

2025 is a deeper draft, gives us ammo at the deadline, panthers may not make the final four, had no pick until round 5 before the deal. All of those reasons are worth it.

Stronger draft class and Florida's pick can almost only improve. Also, gain another pick, which this team has few. Now they should really bundle some of these many late picks and start getting more valuable spots, imo.

We traded down from 23 to 31 and picked up a 2nd rounder today. That 2nd was traded for a 2nd next year and a 7th.

Yeah, I get all that. I saw the trade but that deal gave us 58, not 56. Does that image in the OP not say that we drafted a player at 56? Since when did we have two 2nd rounders that we could both make a pick and trade one back to 2025?
