What grip do nhl players/pro players add on to their non grip sticks?
I add tape something similar like Phil Kessel http://escouthockey.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/Phil-Kessel-pics-Gallery-pic-3.jpg but I think that I have seen that some players add some glue/spray on the stick to prevent your hands to slide too much?
I have tried the grip stick but I dont like it, I feel that my hands meet to much resistance when I move my hand up and down when controlling the puck.
If I dont add tape as grip on the none grip stick I have no controll when shooting becuase my right hand (im a right shooter) just slides uncontrollable down the stick.
What do you guys prefer? and what do nhl players/pro players prefer?
Because of the tape grip I use my right glove is taking a hard beating and the palm doesnt last very long, so is it some other method to use to prevent my hand to slide too much when controlling the puck?
Thanks!
